Geography and Environmental Planning with a Spanish Minor at Towson University
Experience
I've studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina (Feb.-July 2008) and Cuernavaca, Mexico (Jan. 2009). I taught and tutored English in Calahorra, Spain (Oct. 2010- May 2011). I've also been to Panamá and Columbia and so have been exposed to many Spanish dialects. I'm passionate about learning Spanish and enjoy teaching what I know to students and interested people. I also have learned a lot about teaching my own language (ESL) and find with my background in Spanish I can be very helpful. I've taken many Spanish classes and have learned many useful teaching methods while teaching in Spain. I taught in two primary schools, a language institute, gave private lessons at home and have given classes in factories. I like to tutor because I enjoy teaching and watching students progress. I'm passionate about the subjects I want to tutor, Spanish and ESL, and will work hard to help my students.

Hobbies
I like learning Spanish, traveling, volunteering, playing guitar, listening to/seeing music, camping, sailing and other things that keep me busy. I'm extremely laid back and open-minded. I'm interested in how the world works around and so I'm naturally curious about anything really. I really enjoy seeing new things and places and meeting new people.
